Situation or SWOT Analysis

“Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility,,, in the final analysis, the one quality that successful people have… is the ability to take on responsibility.” - Michael Korda

Strengths

While we have many strengths to help bring forth our vision, I would have to say that our determination and dedication are our strongest attributes.  We have experience in production, and we have consulted with culinary experts from around the world to ensure an authentic palette.  Our team of graphic designers create visually stunning packaging to finish off the products. “Unity is strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” - Mattie Stepanek

Weaknesses

The products from around the world that we make and sell might not do well in their home country due to the amount of similar products on the market there.  Some people may not be as adventurous as others, which may keep them from trying new things.  Good marketing campaigns can help overcome these weaknesses.  “Build upon your strengths, and your weaknesses will gradually take care of themselves.” - Stephen C. Hogan

Opportunities

Opportunities for profit and growth are expected with this new snack line.  An unfulfilled customer need will also be met with this product.  A delicacy that is only available in a small part of the world, will now become available globally.  “Opportunities are like sunrises.  If you wait too long, you miss them.” - William Arthur Ward

Threats

Changes in external environment may present threats to the company.  An examples of this could be shifts in consumer tastes, or emergence of substitute products.  Increased trade barriers could also pose a threat.  “In a word of complex threats, our security and leadership depends on all elements of our power - including strong and principled diplomacy.” - Barack Obama
